Polish Owls
- General Impression: Small sized pigeon, the smaller the better. It is very lively and likes attention.
- Head: Short, wide with high forehead, Top of head is flat. Head looks like a cube, with full shell crest terminating at both ends with a rosette
- Eyes: large, dark, highly placed, surrounded by a fine light colored cere.
- Beak: short, thick, wide (the wider the beak the better it is), forms a line with the forehead, nose wattles small.
- Neck: short, with big frill (the bigger the frill the better), frill extends from top of neck and continues into the breast.
- Breast: broad, round, leaning towards the front
- Wings: short, lightly lay on the tail
- Legs: short, feathers should not extend into the legs and toes
- Plumage: well developed, tight, and lying flat wit the exception of the shell crest and throat frill
- Shield: black, red, yellow, white (rare), blue bar, yellow bar, red bar, silver bar. Flight feathers are white and should be from 8-11 on each side
- Mistakes: Round and narrow head. narrow and low forehead. The beak is long thin and crooked. Long legs. No frill. Small crest.
